Jack Savoretti makes Songwriters Series Season Five Opener Complete
Jack Savoretti, you complete us. How’s that for abusing the worst quote in American cinema history? But, it is true. We now have booked for our March 15, 2008 another great Songwriters Series Internet TV Season opener featuring (drumroll, please): United Steel Workers of Montreal (they’re from Montreal, Canada if you hadn’t done your own deductive reasoning), Tori Sparks from Nashville, TN and our recent confirmation or Jack Savoretti from London, England. You have to understand our particular luck with our Songwriters Series openers. We have had Grammy-award winning songwriter, Gordie Sampson. Gordie appeared on our show before he won the Grammy. We have had Ayo who recently appeared on the David Letterman Show. Ayo was on our show first. We had Rachel Sage who was the Starbucks National Songwriting finalist. We had Rachel on our show first. We also had scheduled Paolo Nutini who ended up dissin us because of too much booze, drugs or something so he was a no-show. But we had Paolo before he was Paolo. But, do you see where I’m going with this? We either know how to pick ‘em or we’re really lucky. And, you know what they say, it’s better to be lucky than smart. So I’m betting we’re lucky because Hank Sinatra, Doug Watkins and myself; we is not that undumb. So, what are you doing on Saturday night March 15th at 7:00 PM (CT)??????? Log onto the Songwriters Series web site and watch the show live anywhere in the world with a highspeed Internet connection because you never know who will be seeing and what they will become because our track record of Songwriters Series Season openers are pretty amazing so far and with a line up of the United Steel Workers of Montreal, Tori Sparks and Jack Savoretti, I say our lucky reputation has just gotten even better.
