As a representative for the Arts Alliance in Texas, we are asking what you would do to further the five arts industries in Texas and the United States if elected President. The five arts industries – music, film/video, performance, visual and literature – represent one of most lucrative industries in Texas and the United States. In Texas’ alone these industries represent a $190 billion industry providing millions of jobs for Texans. It is important our elected officials represent and support these five industries through the NEA, Internet broadcast, royalty rates, economic incentives and other legislative initiatives. Please post your position regarding the five arts industries so we, the arts constituents of Texas, can support and vote for the best candidate. Thank you,

The Arts Alliance has helped the grassroots passage of the $35 million arts bond in Austin, TX; the preservation of the Texas Commission of the Arts, and the Austin City Council Candidates Arts forum in the past two elections.
