Texas Songwriting Legends on the Songwriters Series Internet TV Show

Do you know how difficult it is to mix a trumpet into a live recorded acoustic performance? Well, okay. Maybe you don’t. But, trust me it is and the legendary “Man behind the Curtain” or “Man in the Trailer” Hank “Wizard of Austin” Sinatra does it with ease and expertise only twenty years can do to you. Do you know that right now at this moment of time in our universe and our recorded history, recorded history is being broadcast on the current Songwriters Series episode featuring Abra Moore with Will Sexton and trumpet player Ephraim Owens? Along with Abra, we have the legendary songwriting trio of Bill Carter, Stephen Doster and Will Sexton. If you recognize a little-known musician named Stevie Ray Vaughn then you need to know Bill Carter who will have ANOTHER of Bill’s tunes by Stevie out on the brand new Stevie Ray Vaughn CD compilation and Bill just played the new Stevie Ray Vaughn song on our show. Stevie has been gone from this planet for 17 years now and his legend is still releasing new material and one of the songs is Bill Carter’s who played it just for us (and the world) on our show last week. You should feel lucky that you’re on the same web site as these songwriters let alone getting the opportunity to watch it for free. (How’s that for promotional hype!) Will, Bill & Stephen start the episode with Will’s great song ”Think About the Good Things” and it never stops after that. (I hope it’s Will’s tune and I hope that’s what it is called. I am making outlandish deductions from the performance and turning them into facts. I should work for Fox News, huh.) Abra, Will and Ephraim continue it with their performance of her new CD release and we are honored to present her acoustic-style performance of her latest CD release to the world. Once again, are you feeling lucky punk? Watch the show for yourself then BLOG me so I feel like I am somebody on this planet and not some Austin songwriting geek of a fan.
