Abra Moore, Bill Carter, Will Sexton, Stephen Doster & Jonathan Clay on Songwriters Series Finale

On November 10, 2007 at 7:00 PM (CT), log onto the Songwriters Series website to view the finale concert featuring an all-star line up of Abra Moore, Bill Carter, Will Sexton, Stephen Doster & Jonathan Clay. Abra hit the charts and a Grammy nomination in the 90s with “Four Leaf Clover” and “Don’t Feel Like Cryin.” She has a new CD out that is fantastic! I received an advanced copy. How cool am I? Yeah. I feel like Wayne in Wayne’s World wanting to walk around and show everybody my advanced copy that I have and they don’t.

Along with Abra Moore, we have one of the most famous contemporary blues songwriters in the world. Hello?! Bill Carter. The man who wrote the hits for Stevie Ray Vaughn and the Fabulous Thunderbirds (Crossfire, Willie the Wimp, Why Get Up). Along with Bill, Will Sexton and Stephen Doster, two Austin music legends will fill out their power trio.

And lastly but not leastly, we have Jonathan Clay who is John Mayer-like but better. What a show and you can watch it anywhere in the world with a good Internet connection. If you’re watching, make sure you e-mail Doug@Watkins.org with your requests, observations or investments of millions of dollars to our cause. Hey, we’re not that proud. In fact, we’re not proud at all. Send money, jewels, real estate, etc. in the name of art, songwriting and Internet video broadcast! Woo-hoo!!!

Anyway, log onto http://www.songwritersseries.com and watch the concert live at 7:00 PM (CT), Saturday night November 10, 2007.
