Hello world! (From The Songwriters Series Internet TV Show)
So I’m going through my blog stats trying to figure ‘em out and try to see if anybody is picking up the blogs I’ve been laying. I stumble on to “Hello World” and found this:
Welcome to WordPress.com. This is your first post. Edit or delete it and start blogging!
So it’s just been sitting there for months and I now find it. Uh…yeah. Maybe I should put the wine down sooner or actually pay attention to the words I publicly display.
Oh well. Another page to shamelessly promote the coolest Internet Television show on air on earth – The Songwriters Series. And the reason I say that is that the show just as the Internet continue to evolve and grow and reach our digital antennaes to the world. Our Web Wizard, Doug “Gandalf” Watkins has a whole kit-and-kaboodle, upgrader, thingamajiggy going on. To be implemented (hopefully) in upcoming Season Five where we can share code, (I’ve always wanted to share code), e-mail a show, rate a show, post a news story and gently remove unwanted ear hair. Now I know these things already exist but we’re taking it a different angle and different level. First level being we basically do not have $198,683,755 it takes to continually code. (I’m on this “code” thing.) We have Doug. And Doug, like all of us, has to eat. So, we get Doug when we can. Just like all of us. Out of passion and dreams of vision, we believe in the spirit of the Songwriters Series because of its purity (except for this overhyped, self-promotional blog), its artistry, it’s fun and the beer. And look what Doug, Hank and the whole team has accomplished with just a few sheckles of support – one of the leading, independent Internet TV shows in the land.
You wanna see what we braggarts have accomplished. I’m going to name them. All of them from memory and beer: Abra Moore, Bill Carter, Gordie Sampson, Ayo, Gilli Moon, Matt the Electrician, Will Sexton, Shake Russell, Wake Eastman, Susan Gibson, Hera, Albert & Gage, Forlini & Cross, Gray Gregson, Matt White, The Flyin’ A’s, Gustavo Rodriquez, Robert Kelley, Dave Madewell, John Pointer, Megan Melara, Michael Ballew, Stephen Doster, Genevieve, Graham Weber, Gary Graves, Troy Campbell, Sarah Pierce, Samantha Murphy, Dave Goodman, Troy Dillinger, Taxi, Tody Castillo, Michael Clay, Drew Tichnell, Spencer Thomas, Rachel Sage, Melissa Greener, Amanda Lepre, Mr. Greg, Bonnie Whitmore, Claire Small, Hector Ward, Blake & Fallon, Chris Miller, Hobo Coble, Abi Tapia, Dean Seltzer, Chelle Murray, Scott Hawley, Jon Emery, Michelle Citrin, Tim Miller, David Newbould, Michael Weston King, Bill Oliver, Brian Keane, Lorenzo Bertocchini, Sheila Swift, Will T.
